2007 Draws To A Close

The club is coming to the end of another productive and exciting year. Notable events have included a visit and presentation by Mr Angus Annan MM1CCR, President of the RSGB, a club stand at the Mid-Cheshire 'Radio Active' show at Nantwich, and a field weekend up in the hills at Common Barn Farm, Rainow. The society is set to become 'competitive' in 2008, with a developing interest in ARDF and plans for participation in the RSGB Tuesday night activity contests and club championships.

Ray King M1REK has taken over as secretary for the club, with Tom Read M1EYP standing down. He joins Keith Kelly G3VKF who was re-elected as vice-chairman, and Dave Lucas G0BIE (chairman) and Ron Rous G0WUZ (treasurer) who are halfway through their terms of office.
